OUR FRIENDS PLACE invites you to empower young women and Dallas youth at our annual Gala, Auction and Casino Night on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel.  This event is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts, gathering an audience of over 500 donors, supporters, and friends to help homeless young women and at-risk youth.

The gala features gourmet dining, open bar, LIVE and silent auctions, dancing, casino games, and the prestigious 16th Annual Ebby Awards.

Our efforts to help young women break the generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness will go further with your support.

Over 25% of young women in Dallas live below the poverty line—at risk for a lifetime of poverty and homelessness. 

When young women come to OUR FRIENDS PLACE, they succeed!  Over the last 10 years:

83% of our young women were actively employed.
88% increased job skills to improve employability.
91% were enrolled in educational/vocational courses.
94% did not become pregnant while in the program.

It costs $30,000 to graduate one young woman through our Transitional Living Centers and $20,000 to support SOAR to Success mentorship for at-risk youth at one school. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities range from $500 to $50,000.
