On Thursday, April 2, 2020, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County will hold its annual Legacy Dinner fundraiser at The Armory in South Bend. The event will include dinner, a silent auction, and will feature world renowned motivational speaker and poverty expert Dr. Donna Beegle.

After overcoming generational poverty, Dr. Beegle has dedicated her life to educating others on the reality of poverty. Dr. Beegle says, “Poverty is resolvable, however, making a difference for people who live in the crisis of poverty requires a paradigm shift—a shift that moves us beyond stereotypes and judgement to a deeper understanding of the causes of poverty and its impact on human beings. With this awareness, we can work together to provide genuine opportunities for people to move out of poverty.” It is our hope this event will inspire you to help us help others in our community.
