registered charitable organization, CRA #813242633RR001, called Finding Them Homes – James Bay Pawsitive Rescue which is based out of Barrie, Ontario. We are dedicated to finding forever homes for homeless, injured and surrendered dogs and puppies from remote James Bay Coast and other northern First Nations communities. Our goal is to assist in reducing the over population of dogs by rehoming and providing assistance with spay/neuter/vaccination clinics.

Since 2012 this organization, run volunteer run and donation based, has successfully rehomed over 3000 dogs. We have a vigorous adoption process including application, home visits and spay/neuter contracts and a very active Facebook support community. This page connects the north and south so that remote communities can follow the progress of their dogs and pups.

One of our biggest fundraisers in an online auction that runs from November 13th to November 17th, 2020. We are asking you to consider donating merchandise or gift certificate that can be put into our auction. This would greatly enhance the fundraising efforts of our charity.
