Our Sunset Heights Elementary School PTO is busy preparing for our Annual “Move-a-Thon”
fundraiser, which supports our Title I school’s community with many different opportunities throughout the
school year. We are inviting you to participate in this annual event where our students will collect
pledges from friends and family members before engaging in movement based activities with their
classmates at the Step Up for Stingers Move-a-Thon on Monday, April 20 th . Our goal is to raise $8000
through individual donations and business sponsorship to support our school in purchasing new
playground equipment and funding enrichment programs such as assemblies, field trips, technology
upgrades and teacher’s specific needs. Physical activity provides lifelong health benefits and physically
active kids are more likely to be motivated, focused and successful in school.

We are excited about the opportunity this event provides the school instilling lifelong wellbeing through
student fitness.
