The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce represents the  communities of Carpentersville, West Dundee,

East Dundee, Sleepy Hollow and Gilberts in Illinois. Each year the chamber hosts an Annual Dinner to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of businesses and individuals within the chamber and the community. The chamber looks at the businesses that not only support the mission and vision of the chamber, but who also serve as good community stewards, working hard to make Northern Kane a wonderful place to work, live and play.  Chambers offer the business

community a place to come together and share ideas, make new connections, and expand their contact base.

Networking opportunities are offered in a variety of formats and at a variety of times to suit varying schedules. In addition, chambers offer educational seminars and professional development on relevant topics such as marketing, finance, social media and tools to help the small business owner with limited resources succeed.

Last year, the NKCC celebrated it’s 40th year anniversary.  With the restrictions that were in place, our celebration looked very different than what we had wanted to do. This year, our hope is that we will have the opportunity to properly celebrate our 40 year anniversary with an “Old Hollywood” theme.  We have scheduled the event for Saturday, October 2nd at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Elgin.

The chamber functions primarily through membership dues, advertising and marketing  opportunities for our members. 
However, it is still necessary for the chamber to hold fundraising events in order to continue to provide services to the
businesses. With just over 300 members, the chamber relies on the generosity of local businesses and individuals who  volunteer their time and services to the organization.

In order to make this year’s dinner a success, we are seeking donations for our raffles & silent auction.  Your donation is an
opportunity to have your business advertised through the chamber, at the event, and on multiple social media sites.
