2021 Annual Gala & Silent Auction
Gala/Party for Holyoke Medical Center Inc.Nov 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Plans are now underway for Holyoke Medical Center’s (HMC) Gala and silent auction, to be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA. The evening will consist of a multi-course meal with wine pairings, music, dancing, the presentation of several recognition awards, along with the silent auction, to be held online the week of November 14-20, 20121. This will be the first time we’ve held the auction virtually. We’re raising funds to benefit the many award-winning programs and services provided by our independent, community hospital.
Pre-event marketing for the event will include featuring donors and highlighting items by sharing them on our social media channels. Individual recognition will also be listed on our website, in the event program, and in our annual Donor Report. A print advertisement will appear in the hospital’s publication, Valley Health & Life magazine fall issue. Pre-event communications will also be sent to the organization’s affiliates of almost 2,000 employees and staff, along with the many donors who support the hospital.
Located in Holyoke Massachusetts, HMC is a 219-bed, non-profit, independent community hospital that’s been serving communities in Western MA for over 128 years. HMC is a nationally accredited hospital and is the first and only hospital in Western MA to obtain the prestigious accomplishment of becoming certified in the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. HMC has also received five prestigious national and state awards for excellence and quality of stroke care in Massachusetts. Along with stroke care accolades, our Women’s Center offers the most significant advances available for the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer and has been designated by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. It was the first hospital in Western Massachusetts to successfully complete the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. And, HMC earned an ‘A’ from The Leapfrog Group for its efforts in protecting patients from harm and meeting the highest safety standards in the U.S. The Safety Grade assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to hospitals across the country based on their performance in reducing errors, injuries, accidents, and infections with patients in their care. Earning an ‘A’ puts Holyoke Medical Center among the top third of all 2,600 participating hospitals across the country.
