Description

The Maricopa County Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Division invite you to be a part of our upcoming Barristers Ball and Silent Auction held on October 23, 2021 at the Camelback Inn. The Silent Auction portion of the Ball benefits the Maricopa County Bar Foundation.

The Maricopa County Bar Foundation (MCBF) helps the legal community through:

Justice Michael D. Ryan Scholarships a needs-based scholarship, to diverse law students at the ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and the UofA James E. Roger School of Law. As part of its mission, the Foundation strives to aid law school students from diverse backgrounds with the student loan debt associated with obtaining a law degree. The Justice Michael D. Ryan Scholarships are designed to help students afford their dream of service to the community through law.

Supporting diversity issues within the legal community including opportunities for diverse law students to get to know local leaders in the legal community by hosting diversity events.

Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) provides pro bono legal services to people that fall below the poverty line and would otherwise not be able to afford an attorney. Volunteer lawyers help families facing bankruptcy, eviction, and other legal issues. Through MCBF grants, volunteer attorneys can cover the court costs for these families. MCBF grants also help with costs of legal issues the families cannot afford such as process serving, filing fees, translation services, and much more. MCBF grants help the Volunteer Lawyers Program help more people.

Your Silent Auction donation will help us continue to support and grow these and many other programs. In addition to supporting a very worthy cause, this is a very special opportunity to market your products and/or services to Maricopa County lawyers, judges, and their guests. Donations of any type are welcome, including products, services, or gift certificates. All needs-based donations must be received by September 30, 2021.

Please contact with for a donation form to include with your donation to ensure accurate information about your organization and donation. Donations should be sent to Laurie Williams, c/o Maricopa County Bar Association, 3030 N. Third Street, Suite 1260, Phoenix, AZ, 85012.
