Sharp HealthCare Foundation invites you to join us by donating an auction item or gift certificate to Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. Your gift will be used for the 12th Annual Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center Golf Tournament to be held Monday, May 10, 2021 at the renowned San Diego Country Club or other 2021 event at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. 100% of the proceeds go directly to support Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center.

We realize that 2020 impacted many businesses in our community adversely; yet, through it all, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center has been there for our community.

Sharp Chula Vista has consistently treated the most COVID-19 patients in the region since the start of the pandemic and has carried the burden financially, amidst workforce challenges, and supply shortages. There is no entity fighting harder against the coronavirus and providing equitable quality healthcare to minority communities that have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are only a few ways we have impacted our community this year:

• Sharp HealthCare has treated more San Diego County COVID-19 patients than any other health care organization, treating 37% of San Diego County COVID-19 patients– this includes inpatient hospitalizations only. Scripps is next with 29%.
• Sharp Chula Vista has 54% of Sharp’s total hospitalizations.
  Sharp Chula Vista vaccinated San Diego’s first patient against COVID-19.
• Since the pandemic began, Sharp Chula Vista has cared for 6,353 COVID-19 patients (includes both ED and inpatient visits).
