Description

Dear Friends, On Thursday, November 18th you can help local kids get a strong start in life. That’s a big ambition for one day, but don’t worry - you won’t be doing it alone. This year we have chosen to hold the Annual SRCPC Auction online for safety and to reach an even wider audience to both benefit the Centre and our donor’s businesses.

From newborn babies to lively and energetic six-year-olds, children in our community learn, explore, and grow at SRCPC. The Centre, founded in 1978, is an Early ON site, registered charity and one of the oldest family support programs in Toronto. From daily Instagram and Facebook Live Circle Times, to weekly online workshops for caregivers and fun themed Zoom drop-ins for the entire family, SRCPC has been the place to be for families in the east end to engage with each other and the community, even throughout the pandemic. Our staff have been connecting with families to conduct developmental screenings for infants and referring them to appropriate services.

Last year more than 3078 families joined 733 virtual service sessions to participate in free activities. As a member of the Auction organizing committee, I am asking for YOU to help to make the event a success and enable children and families to grow and develop in our community. We hope you will join us in our endeavour to offer quality programming by contributing one or more silent auction items. Donations will help our auction event to be a success and will support SRCPC to raise crucial funds for parenting workshop series, developmental screenings and other programs that government funding does not cover.

We hope you will show your support and donate:

 An item to be auctioned, or a $100 class pass

 A $100 gift certificate Your generosity will help children in our community to learn, explore, and grow.
