In collaboration with James S. Rickards High School, Cumulus Broadcasting, Second Harvest, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and other community partners, the Power of Life Foundation is hosting its Annual Back-to-School Giveaway.  Join us as we distribute more than 2,500 free backpacks, school supplies, food for 300 families, and other items from local organizations.

Executive Director of the Power of Life Foundation, Lane Harper, is an alum of Alabama State University.  He is a Birmingham Police Officer, a member of the National Organization for Black Law Enforcement Executives, (N.O.B.L.E.), a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, who constantly bridges the gap between law enforcement and the public by giving back daily.

Teresa Berger, Associate Director, is an alumna of Florida A&M University, a member of the National Organization for Black Law Enforcement Executives, (N.O.B.L.E.), and serves as an advisor at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
