2022 Bids for Kids Gala Auction
Gala/Party for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro SouthApr 08, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Each spring Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South hosts our annual Gala Auction fundraiser with the goal to raise awareness of our mission and funds to sustain our life-changing afterschool and summer camp enrichment programs for youth in Brockton, Taunton, and surrounding communities. Our 2022 Bids for Kids Gala Auction will be held on Friday, April 8th in the Putnam Club at Gillette Stadium! After a long delay of in-person events, we are delighted to finally be able to bring our great partners and supporters together in celebration of our Clubs’ impacts for the hundreds of youth we serve each day.
We look forward to the opportunity to utilize the 2022 Gala Auction to showcase our supporters' commitment to our Clubs and the regional community as we host a fun-filled evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and celebration of our impact in the lives of Club youth. This year’s gala will deliver better-than-ever silent and live auctions led by a dynamic auctioneer and will feature several surprise special celebrity guests throughout the evening. The newest addition to our annual gala is an exclusive After-Party at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Patriots Place which will feature private bowling lane and Topgolf Swing Suites for our guests along with late night sips and snacks and live entertainment. All Gala Auction guests are welcome and encouraged to join us at the After-Party to make it a truly memorable night!
At the Gala Auction, we will also honor several members of our community for their contributions as leaders, as youth advocates, and as true drivers of change. In addition to recognizing the countless accomplishments of our outstanding 2021 Youth of the Year, Vic Rodriguez, we will also be honoring The Kraft Family Foundation, Taunton Mayor Shaunna O’ Connell, and our immediate past Board Chair Peter Vlaco with the distinguished Thomas P. Kennedy Community Service Award.
