Bethany Lutheran Church has been serving the city of Long Beach since 1943.  This year we will be hosting a Texas BBQ dinner and auction on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  We are expecting about 300 people in attendance.  All of the net proceeds from our even will go directly to supporting our youth who will attend the 2022 LCMS Youth Gathering for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).  This year's Gathering will be held in Houston, Texas from July 9-13 where our youth will join more than 25,000 others from all across the United States.  The LCMS Youth Gathering occurs once every three years, meaning most of our high school students only have one opportunity to attend.  What a wonderful blessing this Gathering will be to our youth and their spiritual development!
