This is a one-day conference hosted by the Capital District Council for the Social Studies (CDCSS) inviting educators to network and meet with guest speakers for the purpose of professional development. We invite local guest speakers from the Capital Region of New York to present on important and timely topics including: New York State Education Department (NYSED) curriculum/assessment updates, social studies learning resources, literacy acquisition, equity in schools, and cultural analysis. Teachers earn Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credits for attending. This is also a great opportunity for vendors and local organizations to promote materials to educators through tabling, round table presentation, and raffle/gift bags.

Event is Saturday, November 5th, 2022.

Ticket prices range from $15-$40 depending on professional and membership status (eg. retired, pre-service, member/non-member)
