The Walker’s Grove PTO is thrilled to announce our 2022 Fall Fundraiser.  The students will be participating in a two week school wide Read-a-thon that will conclude with a family magic show taking place on Friday, September 30 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.  Students will be collecting pledges for reading a specified amount of minutes, and we will celebrate their success at the conclusion of the two weeks with the magic show that will cap off our fundraising efforts.  Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $30,000.  With these funds, the PTO will fund our birthday book program, a digital die cut machine, teacher requests for classroom materials, and the construction of an outdoor classroom.  We are so excited to design an outdoor space that can be utilized by our teachers and students.  It is often observed that students who have the opportunity to utilize outdoor classrooms have an increase in academic performance, while teachers also tend to report a decrease in behavioral issues.  Though a huge undertaking, we are excited to reach our fundraising goals and break ground on an outdoor area for our students.

With our most sincere appreciation, we ask for your support in our fall readathon and magic show. There are two ways your business can help..  The first way to help is to consider sponsoring the magic show at one of the available sponsorship levels.  Alternatively,  we are looking for raffles and prizes.  Raffle and prize donations will be mentioned in all flyers and paperwork going home for the readathon and the family magic show night..

This event cannot succeed without generous supporters like you. We will make sure to recognize all of our supporters and ask the families of our 600 students to patronize the businesses that support our PTO.   We look forward to working with you to make this event a success for our school, and ultimately to help further the education of our children.
