The 2022 JDRF Georgia OneWalk will be our first in-person walk since 2019. For the thousands of Georgian children who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes over the last 2 1/2 years, this event will serve as the first time most of them (as well as their parents) will be meeting other people impacted by this disease, just like them. Our event is on Saturday, Oct.29th at Atlantic Station and will consist of family focused activities, as well as Halloween themed trick or treating for our booth sponsors, and (because Atlantic Station is dog-friendly) we will also be having a dog costume contest, as well as a costume contest for the humans and a “Best t-shirt” design contest! We are expecting at least 7,500 attendees.
