2022 MS Summer Soiree
Gala/Party for National Multiple Sclerosis Society/ Emerging Leaders Board (ELB) of Southern CaliforniaAug 11, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM
It is a pleasure to contact you on behalf of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Emerging Leaders Board (ELB) of the Southern California market. I am humbly requesting your participation in our annual fundraising event, the MS Summer Soiree. The MS Summer Soiree is a young professional’s fundraiser that attracts over 400 young adults and includes a robust silent auction, local food, entertainment, and a mission moment from one of LA’s top MS Specialists. This year’s event will take place at Academy LA on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
We would truly appreciate your support of the 2022 MS Summer Soiree by contributing a silent auction item or gift certificate. For your donation, you will receive recognition on the day of the event and name inclusion on our event’s auction website. Our team hopes we can count on your support this year! If you are able to make a contribution, please fill out our Auction Donor form and send it to the address enclosed at your convenience.
Proceeds from the Soiree benefit the National MS Society to support research, advocacy, programs, and services that improve the lives of the 20,000 people affected by MS in Southern California and 2.3 million people worldwide.
The National MS Society’s Emerging Leaders Board is represented by a diverse group of professionals who are dedicated to fighting MS by fostering awareness among young adults, increasing donations to research and programs, and promoting advocacy for multiple sclerosis.
The MS Summer Soiree is an annual cocktail party and silent auction event supporting the Southern California Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. It will take place at the outdoor lounge of the Academy nightclub in Hollywood with an open bar, local food, a silent auction, entertainment, music and dancing. It’s hosted by the Emerging Leaders Board (ELB) of the Chapter. Our mission is to build community, awareness and support of MS in the younger segment of the adult population of the Chapter, develop future leaders, and diversify the fundraising initiatives of the NMSS.
OUR SUCCESS
Our last in-person event in 2019 raised $72,775, while our 2021 virtual event raised $57,000. Our silent auction, sponsorships, and tickets have been major contributors to our ongoing success.
