Each year, the Northside Education Foundation (NEF) hosts the Pillars of Character Recognition and Gala and seven NISD alumni are recognized for exemplifying the following character traits both personally and professionally: Caring, Citizenship, Fairness, Responsibility, Respect, Trustworthiness, and Learning.

This annual gala is a party with a purpose! The Foundation's goal is to award more grants to employees needing the additional support. Together, we can do great things for NISD educators, students and families!

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, join us to honor our newest NISD Pillars and to prepare future Pillars. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m., the VIP Reception starts at 6 p.m., and dinner begins at 7 p.m.
