L.I. Against Domestic Violence is  celebrating 46  years of  assisting survivors in their journey towards safety and healing. We are thrilled to return to an in-person celebration at the Piermont in Babylon on Thursday, May 19, 2022. This particular event is about celebrating our accomplishments and focusing on the positive outcomes we’ve had during challenging times. Much has changed in the last two years, but our commitment to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault has remained the same. We are writing to invite you to support our Annual Purple Tie Gala, the proceeds of which will directly benefit survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

Our 2022 Purple Tie Gala will honor the work of two esteemed community leaders; Eric S. Fishon, and  LaToya James, Esq. Mr. Fishon serves as our Board President, and is a dedicated LIADV volunteer and supporter of almost 20 years. Ms. James has dedicated her career to providing legal services and resources to survivors of domestic violence.
