This summer, read beyond the beaten path! The Summer Reading Challenge (June - July) is the Kern County Library's annual summer learning, reading, and exploration program for all ages and abilities. No Library Card? No Problem! All of Kern County is invited to participate. **To complete the program, readers are encouraged to choose 10 books they want to read or to have read to them. Books can be checked out from the Library or be titles owned at home.
