Every year, public libraries are tasked with the chore of making sure kids continue reading even when school is not in session. Nationally, there is one unified theme amongst public libraries and for 2022 the theme is "Oceans of Possibilities". 

For our Summer Reading Program, we pack 6 weeks with as many programs as we can based around this general theme. This year we hope to bring a live sea turtle, make sea slime, and celebrate Shark Week! We also do fun things like our Crafts for a Cause program which encourages children to give back to their community.
