Susan McDaniel was a student at Lovelane throughout her two-year battle with cancer. After Susan’s passing, her family remained involved with Lovelane, spearheading the Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane in her memory. The Run was created to ensure that Lovelane continues to be able to provide students beneficial therapy, disguising hard work and professional therapy in an environment of fun, enthusiasm and love.

Funds raised for the Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane provide tuition assistance for families in need to participate in Lovelane’s program. Children are accepted off Lovelane’s wait list regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Once in the program families may apply for financial assistance through our Tuition Assistance Program. This year, Lovelane will provide $65,000 in tuition assistance to 42% of our families.

The Run for Lovelane is a family friendly, competetive 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk and 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run. Annually about 500 runners participate. The event is held at Weston Town Hall in Weston, MA and includes live music, a clown, face painting, police horses, a food truck and more! The event will be Sunday, June 12, 2022.
