About the Charity

The Sandlot Children's Charity was founded in 2017 and we provide financial assistance for kids with physical and intellectual disabilities, specifically for those who are in pursuit of athletic opportunities and sport specific experiences. Our goal is to address a major need in the area of health and wellness while promoting the continued development of social and leadership skills for these inspiring youth to not only survive but thrive to the best of their ability in daily life.

In 2021 we were able to raise nearly $250,000 towards our Sandlot Children's Charity Grant Program which allows us to fulfill our mission and make a difference in the community.

About the Event and Coverage

Each year our big fundraising event takes place at Top Golf in the Colony in December with more than 500 people in attendance, preceded a few months earlier by a Happy Hour kickoff event in DFW. Golf is merely the backdrop as the event brings people together to enjoy in fellowship over dinner, drinks, snacks, dessert, a silent and live auction, games, and, of course, golf all while enjoying the Sunday NFL schedule with the several TVs at the venue.

We're excited to have 105.3 The Fan, a 100,000 watt station, as our media partner for another year which means lots of exposure for all of our partners. One of the things we're happy to offer our donors is publicity in the way of mentions through the station as well as through the social media platforms of myself and other celebrities a part of the event.
