2022 Virtual Holiday Auction
Online Auction for Slate Valley Museum FoundationNov 28, 2022 12:00 PM to Dec 09, 2022 12:00 PM
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce our 3rd annual Virtual Holiday Auction. The online event was such a success that we have decided to make it a part of our annual activities. We hope that you’ll consider donating to the auction this year. This year’s theme “Let’s Gather Together Again” reflects a return to a more normal holiday season, celebrating togetherness after two seasons apart due to the COVID pandemic.
In celebration of this special theme our Virtual Holiday Auction will focus on offering holiday-based items for bid in an online-only platform. We are curating a selection of items related specifically to holiday home and hosting, honoring our own customs and traditions as we celebrate the holidays with the ones we love. Items might include:
· Holiday décor, including decorated trees, centerpieces, wreaths, etc.
· Items for holiday entertaining, including festive food, drink, table settings
· Gift cards, certificates, or gift baskets that offer unique experiences and/or unique tastings.
· Family oriented experiences and destinations
Our hope is that people will look to our auction as a way to celebrate a return to holiday traditions and celebrations while helping the Museum raise vital support for programs and events. The auction will open at 7pm on Thursday, November 25 and will close at 7pm on Friday, December 9. In order to ensure that your gift is included in the auction and all related event material, please reply by November 12 to Wendy Bordwell at associate@slatevalleymuseum.org or 518-642-1417.
Enclosed you will also find information about our Festival of Trees. Perhaps you can join us!
Thank you for considering a contribution to support the Slate Valley Museum. With best wishes that you and your family remain healthy and safe,
