Camp Ondessonk's Roaring Twenties Gala will be held Saturday, March 4th, 2023, at the Four Points by Sheraton in Fairview Heights, Illinois. This biennial event, attracting more than 300 participants, is Camp's largest fundraiser.

The 2023 Gala proceeds will benefit our campers by allowing Camp to purchase program equipment (such as canoes, kayaks, climbing equipment) and for other operational expenses that keep our programs competitive and maintain high quality standards. In order to extend the Camp experience to children of all income levels, your support of this event also helps Ondessonk provide tuition assistance to families in need. 

Camp seeks your support to maintain its foundation and to ensure quality programs future generations. Please consider supporting Camp Ondessonk’s Roaring Twenties Gala by donating an item for the evenings silent or live auction. With many of our campers living in your community, we hope you will consider donating an auction item or gift card to be used as a prize or to purchase supplies for our event. Any donation would be a tremendous help. Your name or your company’s name will be listed in our online annual stewardship report.

Camp Ondessonk is located in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois and offers campers the opportunity to hike, swim, ride horses, practice archery, build campfires, climb rocks, and enjoy many other adventures that make memorable experiences last a lifetime.Camp Ondessonk served 3,171 campers in 2022, providing kids the opportunity to leave technology behind and step outside to play in the woods. Camp Ondessonk provides leadership training and life experiences for our counselors and counselors-in-training that set them up for success as they step into adulthood.
