This year, Lutheran Social Services of Southern California is hosting our annual Color of Hope Gala Awards on October 7th, 2023, with supporters, celebrities, and community leaders from all over Southern California in attendance. Last year, Lutheran Social Services of Southern California was able to raise $305,000 through the support of local businesses like yours. For over 78 years, Lutheran Social Services of Southern California has been one of the largest social service providers in the region, addressing food insecurity, homelessness, chronic poverty, housing crises, health inequity, and mental health crises. During these last few years, the agency has served over 40,000 individuals and families and provided more than 40 initiatives throughout six counties. Our mission is to embrace, equip, and empower vulnerable individuals, families, and communities toward self-sufficiency.
