On behalf of the Fred Wells Tennis and Education Center (FWTEC), we invite you and your colleagues to partner with us by donating to our 2023 CommUNITY Gala auction. The gala will be held on Saturday, October 14, at the InterContinental MSP Airport Hotel and features a sit-down dinner, keynote speakers including current and former TennisWorks students, and silent and live auctions.

Fred Wells Tennis and Education Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the Twin Cities, where we leverage the sport of tennis to build community among individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. With an intentional focus on engaging youth with the least access to resources and exposure to the sport, more than 1,000 youth annually participate in our free TennisWorks youth development programming that builds opportunity, confidence and success with the youth we serve on and off the tennis court.

TennisWorks serves youth in grades 3-12 through tennis, academic, leadership and service opportunities as well as strong relationships to support their personal growth. We are proud that 98% of youth in our after-school and leadership programs report a trusting relationship with an adult in our program. These relationships lead to strong retention and enables us to pivot in partnership with families to meet the evolving needs of our students, especially over the last three years. The generosity of individual donors, grant funders, corporate and community partners makes it possible to offer all of our TennisWorks programming to students at no cost!
