St. James Lutheran School is celebrating the unity of our ‘One of a Kind’ city, church, and school communities as we prepare for the upcoming 2023 St. James Traveler’s Gala. We believe in the power of kindness and the transformative impact it has on a community.
 
Located in the heart of Lincoln Park, St. James Lutheran School is the oldest, continuously operating school in Chicago. It serves families from several Chicagoland communities and offers high standards of education for approximately 200 students from early childhood through middle school.  Through research-based educational strategies, inquiry-based learning, and faith formation, St. James focuses on the whole child and prepares them to LOVE compassionately, LEARN confidently, LEAD courageously - to be ‘One of a Kind.’

Our sole annual fundraiser ‘One of a Kind’ 2023 Traveler’s Gala will be on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Morgan Manufacturing in the West Loop. The Gala is a festive evening inclusive of dinner, drinks, and an energetic live and silent auction program. We are expecting over 300 guests with a goal of raising over $300,000 to improve and expand the educational experiences of our students, the future leaders in our community.
