Community Minded Friends:

This letter is a request for a donation to our 22nd Annual Excellence in Education Gala and Auction. 

The Gala will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023.   Based on past numbers, we expect around 250+ people in attendance.  Each year we have a live and silent auction, as well as a prize drawing.  The proceeds from the gala support our scholarship program, which assists families who qualify for financial assistance, enabling their child to attend school at Concordia High School.

Concordia High School is an accredited Christian school accepting students of all faiths and backgrounds.  We are located in the Pflugerville/Round Rock area.

Our school provides a college preparatory curriculum including AP and Pre-AP courses. Our fine arts program is growing, and we continue to garner accolades in both music and theater.  Our students enjoy academic and athletic extracurricular programs such as:  Science Olympiad, TAPPS competitions, baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swim, track, volleyball, along with many other activities and clubs.  Students have access to an onsite College Coordinator that provides them constant guidance with college choices and scholarship applications. For the past nine years, each senior class (average of 25 students in each class) has earned more than $2 million in merit-based scholarships. 

The 2023 Gala Committee is acquiring donations for both our silent and live auctions. Please thoughtfully consider donating an item from your business or place of work.  We also accept donations of any services that you may be able to provide.  Our deadline to receive donations is October 3, 2023.  Donors and businesses will be recognized in the following ways:

·       Listed in both our electronic and print publications during the weeks before the gala event.

·       Acknowledged on the school website (www.CHSaustin.org).

·       Published in our internal communication system for our school families.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation is tax deductible (Tax ID:  74-2486212) and directly blesses our students and families by growing today’s teens academically and spiritually.
