Established in 2001, Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation serves as the fundraising arm of Hong Fook Mental Health Association, and raises funds to strengthen and expand underfunded programs and services of the Association.

The objectives of Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation are:

To promote mental health through education, wellness and illness prevention programs;
To provide financial support to Hong Fook Mental Health Association for operating culturally competent, community-based programs to persons with mental disorders;
To fund programs for new immigrants and refugees in their adaptation and adjustment endeavours;
To fund research and studies on mental health issues; and
To promote and initiate volunteer development.
 

After the three-year pandemic, we are bringing back the 40 years Anniversary Hong Fook Gala on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa in Markham, with expected 600 guests.

In the past four decades, thanks to the dedicated support from our donors and corporate partners like you, the Association has grown from a grassroots agency with only one full- time and one part-time staff, to a leading ethno-cultural community mental health agency with a consolidated culturally competent, inter-professional team serving Asian and other communities in the Greater Toronto Area, with four office locations, and Accreditation Primer Status.
