I am writing on behalf of the Lehigh Valley Quarter Midget Racing Club, we are a 501c3 nonprofit racing organization for children ages 5 to 15. Quarter Midget Racing is one of the only sports that encourages all members of the family to participate. The kids do the driving in their scaled down sized racecars while the other family members serve as pit crew, mechanics, and volunteer to help at the racetrack. Our track is located on the grounds of Pocono Raceway where they have allowed us to use a piece of land to build a track. Quarter midget racing teaches good sportsmanship, coordination, responsibility, work ethic, mechanical skills, math, and so much more as these racecars require maintenance and improvements to help get them into the winner’s circle. All the funds we generate as an organization goes right back to the young drivers at the end of the year in form of drivers’ package that they receive at our end of year awards banquet. I am writing this letter to ask if your company would donate an item for us to use as part of a basket raffle. Any donation you would be able to make would be graciously appreciated.
