Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services' upcoming Mentor Awards Gala celebrates heroes who have significantly made a difference in the lives of at-risk children. Held at the stunning Taglyan Complex gardens and ballroom in Hollywood, attendees will enjoy an auction, a delicious array of food, and a fast-paced and lively program.

All proceeds from this event directly beneift the youth and famileis that we serve through a robust continuum of care, which includes mental health counseling, emergency shelter and residential care programs, foster family and adoption homes, educational and career advocacy, and supportive housing. We use trauma-informed and evidence-based practices that lead to emotional resilience, social support, educational attainment, and career pathways. At Optimist, foster children learn, for the first time, that there is a hopeful path forward.
