On Saturday, March 4, 2023, the North East Educational Foundation is hosting its annual Gala at Pedrotti's Ranch in Helotes. This year's theme is Boots, Bling, and Big Dreams. The Boots, Bling, and Big Dreams Gala benefits students and teachers in the North East Independent School District (NEISD). As the nonprofit partner of the District, our Foundation raises money for educational programs and priority projects. NEISD is the twelfth largest school district in Texas with nearly 60,000 students across 72 campuses. In a district this large, we often need help from business partners, foundations, and other external entities to meet the educational and extracurricular needs of our students. Our Foundation's 2023 Gala will raise money to support our innovative grant program. Innovation grants are projects and programs that enhance the basic required curriculum and broaden the range of students' educatoinal experience. Innovation grants enhance learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom education. 

At the Gala, we will be showcasing some student grants in person and through video. Our guests will be greeted by NEISD cheerleaders and band memebrs. We will also have a music performance by the Rick Cavender band during the event. Our Foundation will have a silent and live auction for our guests.
