During the COVID-19 pandemic, NHA has worked to keep its doors open to provide essential services to those who depend on us. With the help of the funds raised at the Golf Gathering and support of our sponsors and donors, we will continue to serve the San Diego community.

NHA is committed to providing economic advancement for local youth. The agency's Youth Fellowship Employment Program, NHA College Academy, and HBCU Initiative all plant the seeds for career and economic advancement for young people from historically disadvantaged communities. These programs are developing the next generation of leaders and provide encouragement and inspiration as they prepare for college and careers. First-generation college students in the NHA College Academy are realizing their dreams of attending college, interns in our Youth Employment Program are gaining meaningful work experience and career development, and the HBCU Initiative is helping to build a diverse workforce.
