I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Maryland Emergency Management Association, which will hold a symposium and silent auction to benefit our scholarship fund.  The fundraising event is the main source of funds for this scholarship and will begin On May 30th, at our annual symposium.  The funds raised from the silent auction will benefit high school seniors in Maryland that looking to pursue a career in public safety.  We are looking to raise $15,000 for five scholarships. Your donation is beneficial in helping raise money for our scholarship fund.  We would appreciate any item or gift certificate you can provide to our organization for the auction.
