The Soiree Under the Stars is the signature fundraising event for the Hope Alzheimer’s Center (Nonprofit ID 05-0478448) in Cranston, RI. This year, the Soiree will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. here at the center. Business leaders and community members will join together with caregiver families, past and present, for an elegant evening that celebrates the lives of those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of memory loss. There will be a live auction emceed by WPRI anchor Mike Montecalvo, silent auction, cash raffle drawing, hors d'oeuvres, wines, desserts and music. The goal is to raise $50,000 for Hope.

The Hope Center, which provides day services for people with Alzheimer’s disease, fills a vital need for families who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s. Because of our unique center, caregivers are often able to keep their loved ones at home, rather than a nursing home, far longer than they would otherwise be able. Just as importantly, caregivers are able to tend to work and other responsibilities during the day with the peace mind of knowing that their family members are safe, happy, and well cared for. We rely on fundraising support to allow us to provide access to care for those in need regardless of socioeconomic status and to bring new therapeutic programs to our participants.
