Description

We are hoping for your support at our 2023 Spring Fundraiser.  Your contribution enables Kara to deliver hope and healing to adults, children, and families in our local communities as they navigate the difficult journey through grief and loss. In 2022, we provided grief support services to over 6,000 children, teens, adults, families, schools, and community partners all across the Bay Area. Your donation will help us raise the critical funds that are needed to support Kara’s work in the community, providing compassionate peer grief support services at no cost to the bereaved family.

Our 2023 Spring Fundraiser will feature a silent and fund-a-need auction, live music, bites and beverages, and a presentation by Litsa Williams, MA, LCSW-C, co-founder of the online grief community What's Your Grief. We expect 250 people in attendance at the Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto. All donors will receive promotion in event written media, as well as on Kara's website and social media pages.  Your donation will help Kara continue to provide essential grief support services to children and adults who have experienced loss and are in need of support.
