The Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras (GCTYO) will be holding a Spring Social Fundraising event on May 7th, 2023 at 6PM. GCTYO is a diverse community of families from over 40 towns throughout Connecticut with the mission to inspire and educate young musicians.  Currently we have 335 elementary through high school students taking part in our orchestras, spanning the beginning through advanced levels of play.  We are a not-for-profit organization, and all fundraising efforts are vital to our mission.

GCTYO will be holding a Silent Auction as part of our Spring Social event to be held at Sacred Heart University’s Discovery Science Center in Bridgeport, CT.  Would you consider a tax-deductible, in-kind donation to help us with our fundraising goal?  The money raised from the auction will sustain our growing program and allow us to expand our community outreach efforts, including providing scholarships and free music lessons to those with financial need. We firmly believe that there are many benefits of music education including improved academic performance, greater creativity and increased self-esteem, and such benefits should be available to all, regardless of background or circumstances.
