The States Dinner is a commemorative event to celebrate the organization’s outgoing National President, her year of service, and her and dedication to our veterans and military families. The States Dinner Silent Auction will take place on August 30th, 2023 at the 102nd American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) National Convention in Charlotte, NC . Nearly 1000 guests attended States Dinner in 2022. The silent auction raised over $9,000 that was used to support the Auxiliary’s educational and charitable programs. The ALA Foundation positively impacts the lives of our veterans, military, and their families by helping to fund programs of the ALA including Girls Nation and the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. Since 2014, the ALA Foundation has also issued over 200 grants to support our nation’s heroes, totaling more than $750,000.
