Gooseberry Park Players is a fee-free summer theatre program for youth ages 11-18.  Our production for this summer will be Disney's Descendants.  A cast of 60 local theatre students will be in the production along with 10+ student in the technical crew and another 10+ students in the orchestra pit.  Our programming for these students is free and includes summer classes in dancing, acting, singing, set construction, and costume sewing.  At the end of our summer season, we will host six performances of our theatre production.  Dates for the shows are July 18-23rd.  Our organization relies on grants, corporate sponsorships, and ticket sales for the vast majority of our revenues.  Additionally, a silent auction is held during the shows to bring in additional funding to support our mission of providing a fee-free summer theatre program to youth in our community.
