TAER, is the Texas Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired. The mission of TAER, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is to support professionals who provide education and rehabilitation services to people with visual impairments, offering professional development opportunities, publications, and public advocacy.

We need your help with our upcoming silent auction, which will be held at the TAER Conference 2023, March 23 - March 25, in Denton, Texas, to support scholarships that are awarded to students with a visual impairment who are either preparing or currently attending college and to students who have been accepted or are currently attending college to study rehabilitation or education of people with visual impairments.  We need items we can offer as prizes for our silent auction.  Your donation can be something as simple as a gift certificate to your business or a gift basket. Your donation will help us achieve our goal for this fundraiser, which is $5,500. 

Your generous donation will be publicly acknowledged at our event. Not only will your business benefit from the community goodwill generated by your kind donation to our group, but it is also tax-deductible. TAER’s tax id number is 74-2368903.
