Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties (DVSCP) holds an Annual Virtual Auction to raise money for the free and confidential services we provide for victims of domestic/intimate partner violence in our community. 

The auction is being held from March 30- April 1, 2023. All proceeds generated from this event go to support our emergency shelter and associated services.  The auction is open the public for viewing and bidding. Expanding to a broader audience not only increases the number of bids, but also the recognition of those who donated items. 

Donors will also be recognized on our website and social media channels, in virtual auction marketing materials, and through our virtual bidding site, 32auction.com. They will also be listed in our Annual Report sent out in October. 

Funds raised last year allowed us to help more than 1,400 people in Central PA affected by domestic/intimate partner violence, including providing emergency shelter to 113 adults and 109 children for a total of 7,313 shelter nights. Staff also assisted with filing 442 Protection Form Abuse orders and fielded 1,975 hotline calls.  Of those calls, 11% fell into a ‘high risk of death’ category and 6% required translation services. In almost every category, DVSCP’s numbers increased: the agency saw a 35% increase in shelter nights provided, a 4.4% increase in hotline calls, and a 61% increase in adult shelter clients.
