Dear Friend and Supporter of Better Education: 

Wilder-Waite Grade School educates over 350 Kindergarten through 5th grade students and has been serving the Peoria and Dunlap area since 1947. On behalf of the Wilder-Waite Parent Teacher Organization, we would like to thank you for your support of our mission to improve the lives and education of the children at Wilder-Waite. 

Our PTO’s primary fundraising activity is our “Spook Spectacular". Which is scheduled for the week of October 23rd of this year. We are overjoyed to continue this annual tradition. This will be the 73rd year our children and parents have enjoyed Spook Spectacular! This fundraising event owes its success to the generous support of businesses such as yours. Community donations have allowed us to support our students’ education through funding field trips, online reading app subscriptions, support for our dedicated teachers, and the creation of an outdoor classroom to get our students outdoors and into nature. Our 2023 event will include a virtual silent auction, raffle, games and more. 

We are asking for your help. Would you consider providing either an item donation for the silent auction or raffle to help sponsor the event? Past auction and raffle contributions have included hotel stays, children's toys, themed gift baskets, gift certificates, etc. We believe you will find support of our event advantageous to both our students and your business! In return for your generosity, your company/organization will be announced as the sponsor of the prize, listed in newsletters, posted on our website.
