Description

At Outreach, our Women’s Network is committed to loving our vulnerable women and children that we serve in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, IL.  For over 30 years, we have welcomed thousands of women to our annual luncheon with a mission of “women helping women”. Our event raises critical funds that support our transitional housing program for young homeless women and single mother’s, helping them find stability and achieve independent living, family stabilization services, and youth development programs.

This year, we anticipate a larger attendance of 450 guests to gather at Drury Lane Theatre & Events for an unforgettable time with lively music, impressive raffle offerings, and most importantly, real life stories and updates on program participants whose futures have been made brighter through our programs. The luncheon will also feature an inspiring message from keynote speaker, Demi Tebow.

As thanks for your in-kind donation, you will receive high visibility on our digital platforms, website, program materials, and event signage. You will appreciate appealing to this diverse demographic group of local women in leadership, business, church, home, and education.

1.       Transitional Housing

Outreach’s Transitions Program at Hawthorne House provides young, homeless women ages 17-24 with safe and supportive housing, intensive support services and the opportunity to gain financial independence and emotional maturity. The Jubilee Village Transitional Housing Program provides housing and wrap-around support services for young single mothers, ages 18-24, and their children, who would otherwise be homeless.  The program’s holistic services include counseling, case management, parenting classes, financial counseling, and educational and employment assistance. Both programs provide residential staff who serve as healthy role models for family life and spiritual guidance.

2.       Family Stabilization Services

Outreach provides family stabilization services to more than 2,000 families each year. Services include counseling, case management and crisis intervention.  Counseling services are provided through Outreach Counseling Centers.  Our Counseling Centers have been working with individuals and families in this area for over 40 years. Our staff therapists are trained in the latest research and practices to address a wide variety of concerns.

3.       Youth Development

The Youth Development Program at Outreach serves at-risk children and youth at various ages and grade levels, assisting them in reaching their full potential. Services include educational assistance through academic tutoring, one-on-one mentoring, faith development activities, college preparation for high school students and college scholarships for college students.
