Dear Friend of Rescue Dogs, 

My name is Karen Travis and I am a volunteer with adoptaBull English Bulldog Rescue. We are hosting our semi-annual Facebook auction to raise funds to assist in paying for the substantial medical costs of our foster dogs. 

Many of the bulldogs that come into our program have been abused, neglected or surrendered, often due to costly medical issues. adoptaBull has a reputation for doing whatever is necessary to improve the health and well-being of every dog that comes to us before placing them with their committed forever family. 

In 2020, 2021 and 2022, all of our in-person fundraisers were canceled due to the pandemic and the organizers for these events have almost all gone out of business or are no longer putting on in-person events. adoptaBull has to rely on our auctions, and other small on-line fundraising events, to help with these medical costs. In 2023, we moved to online fundraising. We recently had our first live event in 4 years and no others are currently scheduled. 

Our auction is a shared public Facebook event and is expected to continue to have hundreds of viewers and bidders. In the weeks leading up to the auction, all business donors will be prominently featured in an individual Facebook post with your business name. We will end the auction with a post on your item which will include contact/website information for your business.

We are hoping that you would be willing to help us out with a donation of a product or service from your business. Any donation will go a long way in helping to properly care the bulldogs in our program which currently includes: Sansa, Tulip, Portia, and Lucy.
