The Union Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is a non-profit organization that helps support the financial and social needs of students, teachers, and families in our neighborhood school. I am writing on behalf of the Union PTO to request your support for this year’s annual spring fundraiser auction.
Here are just a few ways our fundraisers have helped support Union families in recent years:
Purchasing new classroom supplies, educational materials, and playground equipment
Financing fields trips, various artistic and cultural performances, special presentations, and author visits, creating opportunities for all children regardless of financial need
Financing scholarships for Union School graduates and teacher grants for innovations in teaching practices
Our annual spring auction is back this year and will be held online during the week of March 15 - March 22, 2024. While many donations come from teachers and families in the Union School community, we rely on the support of local businesses to make this event a success. Please consider making a donation of goods and/or gift certificate to this year’s auction by March 1, 2024. Since the auction will be held online, your business logo will be seen by everyone bidding. Our auction will be publicized through posters and communications to all parents/teachers/staff at Union School. We will also be advertising through digital media. Donations are tax deductible (the PTO’s tax ID is 06-6001614).
