Thank you for taking the time to review our request. My name is Kristen Bickard and I am the
Recording Secretary for Camp Avenue School’s PTA in Merrick, NY. I am very proud to be working
with fellow volunteers to help enhance the lives and everyday experience of our Pre-K to 6 th grade
students to inspire them to want to learn more, build their confidence to try new things, and have the
resources and tools to success in their futures. As my high school always said, its not for school but
for life.

On April 3, 2024, we will be hosting our biggest fundraising event where we are anticipating 200+
attendees to raise about $15,000 - $25,000 for in-school and afterschool programs that will enhance
the children's learning of STEM, physical education, creativity, foreign language, reading and more!
We are asking you for your support.

Donations are the driver behind our success. We will be holding live auctions, silent auctions, and
high-end raffles that allow for our community to take part in. We are hoping for your help and if you
can provide a donation as higher quality and valued products help us sell more tickets, set higher
auction records and ultimately raise more money for our students. Any help will be greatly
appreciated. To show you our appreciation, we will be sure to thank you at the event and in our
printed materials.
