Description

The Annual Benefit Bash is an amazing evening for everyone to enjoy a night of imagination, exploration, and connection as we celebrate the many ways Glenkirk Supporters have been able to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Benefit Bash, formerly known as the Benefit Brunch, was created by a parent volunteer, Eileen Bennin, more than twenty years ago. This event has raised more than $3,000,000 in support of Glenkirk’s programs over the years.

The Benefit Bash has welcomed such guest speakers as former Senator Hillary Clinton, Tipper Gore, Judy Markey, Scott Turow, Dr. James Phillips, Rob Johnson, WTTW’s Dan Protess, Hy Speck, and Emmy Nominee Ron Engler.

Throughout the years the Benefit Bash Committee has been dedicated to sustaining and expanding Glenkirk’s award-winning programs, Next Generation Services, Home Improvements, and Transportation.

A main attraction of the Bash continues to be its grand raffle of over $25,000 in raffle items. Each year, many contributors purchase raffle tickets even if they are unable to attend the event. Prize packages range in value from $100 to $2,500.

The success of the Bash would not be possible without the kindness and generosity of the many individuals, local businesses, and corporations who have lent their support to further Glenkirk’s mission. On behalf of the individuals we serve, thank you!
