The Charles River Center is a nonprofit human service agency with offices in Needham, MA and Natick MA providing employment and job training, residential homes, day habilitation, and recreational programs for over 1000 adults and children with disabilities in Norfolk, Bristol and Middlesex counties.

Our largest annual fundraiser, the 2024 Building A Dream Gala will be held this year at Four Points by Sheraton Norwood hotel. The evening will celebrate the accomplishments of remarkable people with disabilities and their supporters, while raising funds to ensure Charles River Center can continue to empower the individuals we support as they chart their life’s path. There will be a cocktail reception, a dinner, and an awards presentation, featuring the Maria McTernan Leadership Award, which honors a community member who is a champion for individuals with disabilities and the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is presented to a person served by the Charles River Center. In addition, the program will include an inside look at the Charles River Center, as well as fund-a-need and online auctions.
