Charity golf tournament which proceeds will go to help fund breakfast programs for underserved school children in Jamaica through a Dallas, Texas based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Jamaica Youth Education Support (Jamaica YES).  We have been making an impact 2004 and everyone is 100% volunteer, seeing the positive impact being made on these young lives, priceless.  The prior three golf tournaments were successful in which Jamaica YES was able to continue funding breakfast programs at 13 schools, impacting over 900 underserved school children in the schools.  Our goal is to impact at least 1,000 school children during the 2024/2025 school year.  It is difficult to learn when you're hungry.

While net proceeds go to the underserved school children in Jamaica, the golf tournament, golfers and volunteers are here in the North Texas area.  It is a great opportunity for donors to get their name out there as we also advertise throughout the US for the tournament.  Donations made through DonationMatch have been very propular at our prior golf tournaments.

We are also hosting our annual nonperishable food drive with the golf tournament - benefiting a Plano, Texas based nonprofit, Minnie's Food Pantry.  They provide boxes of food for families and people in need in the great Plano area.  Last year we dropped off nearly 600 pounds of food and we plan on surpassing that amount at this year's tournament. 

The tournament is a shotgun scramble with breakfast and lunch provided.  We will have both raffles, silent auction items and online items available.  We are counting on the generosity of donors to help us have as many great raffle and auction items as possible.

Donors will be recognized at the tournament, tournament brochure, tournament website, slide show during lunch/awards ceremony, social media and our newsletter distribution list.
