We are organizing the 2024 Coalport Street Fair. We reach out to businesses in nearby towns and states, asking if you could assist us by donating an item for the "Giant Crazy Auction"--our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Coalport is a small community on the National Register of Historic Places located on Route 53 in southern Clearfield County. At one time Coalport was a bustling town we had several factories, a movie theater, an opera house, a florist, a tea house, a 5 & 10, a jewelry store, two bowling alleys and a roller-skating rink. There were coal mines and logging outfits. Coalport had two trains running daily through town. One hauled logs and coal and the other passengers. Sadly all are gone and we are very economically depressed. We must travel 30 - 50 miles away to go to work and play. 

The Coalport Street Fair is a friendly summer event for kids and families of all ages.
with free admission for everyone. At Kids' Korner we’ll have inflatable entertainment, such as a bouncy house, an obstacle courses, a giant slide, a petting zoo, a face painter, etc. 

The next three blocks uptown we’ll place on both sides of Main Street over 75 vendors--a farmers’ market, all types of unique crafts, a variety of food vendors, the local businesses are out in force, artisans from near and far, live entertainment and demonstrations, and much more. And we didn’t forget our four-legged friends! We have a “Pet Hydrations Station” where your pet can get a drink of water and lay on one of the many carpets and mats, we have spread out to rest in the shade.

In the medical center parking lot, we have our volunteers selling 50/50 tickets and raffle tickets for the “Giant Crazy Auction.” This is where your donation will go along with others we receive. Some contributors of donations we have received include: Pittsburgh Steelers, Charles Riverboat Cruise, Coca Cola, Erie Zoo, Senator John Heinz History Center, Turkey Hill, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, Altoona Curve, East Broad Top Railroad, Crayola Experience, Clementon Amusement Park & Splash World, Discovery Park of America, Urban Air, Hands-On House, Treetop Adventures, Keystone Safari, Living Treasures and Rural King, etc.

The mission of the Decorating Committee is to beautify our town; to replace and maintain Coalports’ Christmas lights for the young and old of our community. We have been branching out to bring additional activities at no cost to kids and families throughout the year to the community. 

Your generous donation will be accompanied on the “Giant Crazy Auction” raffle tables with advertising whether it’s your company brochure, a rack card or a business card. Your business will also be on our printed on our tri-fold handout given out to attendees. You will also be mentioned on our social media page and website.
